Who doesn't love community? Who doesn't love being a part of something much bigger than themselves, something that instills a sense of purpose in every fiber of your being?
Craig Hospital holds a special place in our hearts here at Moji, a bang salon. If you have't picked up on what a big deal this community is to us, then you just have to scroll back to the see the pictures and read the stories.
Our very own, Chelsi Segura, wanted to share how much Craig has impacted her.
"Recently Craig Hospital hosted it's annual fundraising Push Dinner event. I was so excited to go, but then came down with the horrible flu bug, that had been going around, and was unable to make it. Because of where I work, I have the incredible privilege to style the hair of Craig Hospital employees as well as the amazing patients. Throughout the weeks leading up to the event I had told many people that I would be in attendance, but when I was unable to attend, I was blown away by how many of these clients have been back to the salon and told me, "I heard you were sick", "How are you?", "I was so excited you were going to be at the Push Dinner, you were missed." At this huge event, with thousands of people, I was missed, by not just one, but by many. Knowing this filled my heart. It made me feel a part of a bigger picture, a picture filled with joyful people who strive to help others. As a new to Denver girl, with only two distant relatives who live in Denver, it's been a hard transition. The majority of my family is back home in Las Vegas, NV. One of my favorite traditions, and something I miss most, are our weekly family dinners. So it spoke volumes to me to have these incredible clients care about me. It's clear to see that Craig is a family. The exciting part is that I can see that they are becoming MY family too."
